Feeder go X-Rated for Renegades video

The masked ‘balaclava girl’ from the Renegades album artwork and Call Out video marks her welcome return in the new video for the upcoming Renegades single, out on August 30th – and this time she’s more in the nip than ever, with the video featuring frontal topless nudity, as she tears up the place with her baseball bat and angry like demeanour. The ‘news’ was broken by The Sun (who else) and the video should be available to view in its entirety within the next couple of days.

Obliviously, we here at FFS are both appalled and disgusted by the new video and/or any other type of nudity. Click here to see more.

Website Updates

You might have noticed, FFS has had a new lick of paint. What’s new? Well, nothing really... it’s a bit like when they move all the aisles around in Tesco and you can never bloody find anything. What’s that Sir? Well the eggs are now where the bacon used to be, and the toilet rolls are in the car park.

It’s not all bad, our videos our now in HD (high-erish detail) and we’ve added some nifty new little ‘virtual booklets’ to the album pages that will probably take about twenty minutes to load. We hope you enjoy the site.

Upcoming Single Release

FFS Shout Box - Shout at us

  1. @H - how can you complain that 'The End' is a rip off of Nirvana? It's more like a creative ode to Nirvana, not a rip off... just because they may have come up with that sound before, doesn't mean no other band can ever use that style. It's good to share.

  2. When will renegades music video be out ? Cannot wait

    Adrian

  3. i think the new album is just for fun!

the realy NEW album will come in october. the sound of renegades is hard´n´heavy like the ultimate "pictures of pain" yeahhh! BUT, the lyrics...oh, oh.

grant is so a good songwriter ( ywts, paperfaces, just the way...and more).

the new album is for me only a joke!

    WAITING FOR THE NEXT ALBUM.

  4. @to all the new album haters

this album in my eyes is terrific, i am the kind of fan who was won over by their comfort in sound, mellow type era music, this for me is the step in the right direction, basically comfirmed the last track 'the end', ok, after about 3 listens of the album, i didnt quite get it, but tunes got stuck into my head at random times, and in time, began to love it soooo much, these ideas are absolutely fresh, the only thing i dont like is the amount of backing vocals used in some tracks, its suits this town brilliantly, down to the river is phwoar, emotive heavy stuff! take my word for it guys, keep listening, best suited if your doing something very intense IE going to the gym, cos it seems people are not being patient enough with this record, all opinions count dont get me wrong, just dot slate the band, that really pisses me off, i'm seeing it here, this is new material!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  5. glad to see im not the only one who doesnt like this record :)

    @nick

im not telling anyone what to do. all im doing is stating my opinion of the new album. and i just dont like it, end of. and just in the same way you cant understand all the supposed 'hate'(thats a pretty strong word when it comes to music) towards this record, i cant understand the amount of people who love it and go crazy over it. but its about the music, and nothing else. its not against the band as people, and i am not telling anyone what they should or shouldnt do. all im saying is that there are 3-4 good songs on the album, and the rest is not sooo good. thats my honest opinion. there is no hate there...i love feeder and wish them the very best...always have, always will.

  6. Couldn't agree more nick.

People say its back to their roots but it isn't. Most of the songs sound like crappy nirvana imiatations.

The amount of songs grant writes there must be some gems that aren't released and their must be some, like on the renegades album, that make it.

I love Feeder, i really really do, but its so hard to see the positive side from this album. It charted at 16 and then the next week plummeted out of them.

One more record guys and if thats no good, then maybe its time to call it a day.

  7. So very,very poor.

The whole Renegades thing came across like some tacky american focus group...now hearing the album, ouch!!!

Its hard to criticise the lyrics though, lets face thats never been G's forte (however even I'll admit new depths have been spectacularly plumbed) however musically its not working for me at all and I think its down to the songwriting.

I remember a number of years ago, Mark R saying G was so prodigious a writer that when he went to the toilet he came back with another song. Perhaps its time for G to leave the sh*t where it was created.

Maybe there's one more good record in them however this might just be the time to move on.

My disappointment of 2010 so far.

  8. Can't believe the amount of hate for this album, it's loud, it's back to roots and it gets a crowd going. Really disappointed by people telling the band what they should and shouldn't do.

Keep up the good work Feeder!

  9. The song writing on this album is so poor. No wonder its plummeted down the charts. The lyrics are horriffic, they mean nothing to nobody.

I am a Feeder fan, i love everything before silent cry, but this album truly is shocking in terms of lyrics. The music is good, but maybe its time grant got some help with the lyrics

  10. yeah...but like i said...the reason i dont like the album is not because of its 'direction' or because 'its not feeder'. i like the soft stuff they do just as much as the harder stuff, thats not the problem. the problem is that i just dont think the songwriting is very good on this album. songs like home, barking dogs, city in a rut, this town and the end are bad songs...and the lyrics are cringeworthy. we all know that grant has had trouble with the lyrics for the last couple of records, but this is a new low i feel. anyway...i still love feeder nonetheless, and am looking forward to the second album.

  11. For didz!

Hi, you´re right. This is not a real Feeder album, it´s Renegades. I realy hate "the end" this is just NIRVANA but not Feeder!!! The other songs are good, the best track is "down to the river". I hope the 2. Album in october will be better than this.

    cheers from germany.

  12. This album sounds like an old Feeder LP (Echo Park...?) Back to the sources. Sounds good.

  13. hm...am i the only one who doesnt like the new album? feeder are my favourite band...and i love their music no matter what direction they go in. its just...most of the tunes just arent any good, and most of the lyrics are just daft. i like renegades, left foot right and down the river, and maybe sentimental...but the rest...hm. i still love you feeder, but this record just isnt my cup of tea. looking forward to album number 2 in october :)

  14. Love the website design, very cool! Also, the new album is SUPERB !!

  15. New Feeder album rocks

  16. The artwork for album is proper cool, although I still don't have mine yet. Can't wait until tomorrow, I think this will be Feeders best album ever...!

  17. LOVE the new album.

  18. Loving the new website guys, looks great! Really liking the album books

  19. I like it.
